Lyfe Languages: health information in Aboriginal languages

Lyfe Languages is an Aboriginal-led registered charity (ACNC, with Deductible Gift Recipient status). We translate medical terms and health information into Aboriginal and other Indigenous languages, working with young Language Champions, so health workers and patients can understand each other better.

Yes. You're welcome to watch, download, print and share every animation and brochure on our Resources page.

All resources are in English, and some are also available in Aboriginal languages such as Nyangumarta. Each resource page shows the languages it comes in, and we add new translations over time.

They are made for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, families and communities, and for the health workers who support them in clinics, Aboriginal Medical Services and hospitals.

Play them on a screen during an appointment, share the link, or print the QR card from any resource page so patients can watch on their own phone.

Yes. Tell us the topic and language you need using the resource request form. We work with language centres and health services to decide what to make next.
